Field Trip: Barrett Branch, Alexandria Library

For our December members-only field trip, we’ll take a tour of the Special Collections of the Kate Waller Barrett Branch of Alexandria Library.  This area within the beautiful and historic Barrett Branch offers a wealth of resources on Alexandria and Virginia history, Virginia genealogy, and the Civil War.  (We might get a look at some holdings pertaining to Burke, as well.)  If you’re not yet a member but would like to join us, see our Membership page for more information.  This event is part of our promotion of research for 2016.
