General Meeting: “Anna Maria Fitzhugh”

BHS member and Fairfax County History Commissioner Mary Lipsey will speak on the remarkable life of Anna Maria Fitzhugh of Ravensworth. Mrs. Fitzhugh (née Goldsborough) became one of Fairfax and Stafford Counties’ most prominent landowners upon her early widowing in 1830, and remained so until her death in 1874.
Please note that, beginning February 2017, the BHS will hold our general meetings at Pohick Regional Library, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. on the last Sunday of the month (whenever possible). As usual, all are welcome!
