Three videos made by Fairfax County Public Schools, using materials that the BHS helped to compile while supporting the Burke School’s 75th anniversary celebration:

The Virginia Trekkers, a team of elementary school teachers from Henrico County, Va., who make videos (oriented to the school-age set) of their visits to historic sites around the Commonwealth and beyond.  Their videos from Fairfax County include:
Mount Vernon,
Great Falls, and
Gunston Hall.

Cherry Run Elementary School’s video on the history of Burke.  This won the Virginia Trekkers’s 2015 statewide contest!

Fairfax Cemeteries –  This video provides a look at many of the small cemeteries located in Fairfax County.

The Gravel Pits Documentary:  Before there was Kingstowne – This video provides a look back at Kingstowne before its development.

Glenn Curtis on responding to the emergency of June 1st, 1967, when six young soldiers on voluntary detail from Fort Belvoir were electrocuted while constructing Howrey Field Park in Annandale.

Virginia Voices, a collection of personal narratives from all over the Commonwealth, sponsored by the Virginia Historical Society.
